Arte De Libertad

I’m raising money for Polaris to help lead a social justice movement fighting sex and labor trafficking. More than 25 million people worldwide deprived of the freedom to choose how they live and work. For more than a decade, Polaris has assisted thousands of victims and survivors through the U.S. National Human Trafficking Hotline, helped ensure traffickers are held accountable, and built the largest known U.S. data set on trafficking experiences.

To support this mission, I created Arte De Libertad, an art-based fundraiser dedicated to turning creativity into action. Through the sale of artwork, Arte De Libertad raises money for Polaris while also spreading awareness about human trafficking, freedom, dignity, and human rights. The fundraiser is rooted in the idea of “Artivismo”, a blend of the Spanish words "arte" and "activismo" -meaning art and activism. Artivismo uses creativity as a form of resistance, advocacy, and social change, transforming art into a tool that challenges injustice and inspires action.
