Polaris has been actively involved in combating human trafficking for over a decade, aiding thousands of victims through their created U.S. National Human Trafficking Hotline. Their efforts have contributed to holding numerous traffickers accountable and creating the largest known U.S. data set on trafficking experiences. By utilizing this data and collaborating with survivors, Polaris aims to enhance the identification of trafficking, improve support for victims and survivors, and work towards preventing human trafficking by addressing underlying inequities and oppressions.
