Rubi 's Polaris Fundraiser

Hi everyone, my name is Rubi, and thank you so much for taking the time to read my fundraiser.

I’m raising money for Polaris, a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to fighting human trafficking and supporting survivors. Polaris works to help people who have experienced sex and labor trafficking by connecting them with resources, using survivor-informed data to better understand and prevent trafficking, and creating solutions that address the systems that allow exploitation to happen.

This cause is extremely important to me because I believe that every person deserves the basic human right to feel safe, have control over their own life, and live with dignity. It is heartbreaking to know that millions of people around the world are being exploited, having their freedom taken away, and are in situations no one should ever have to experience. Behind every number is a real person with a story, dreams, and a future that matters.

While I may not be able to change this issue alone, I believe that small acts of compassion can create a ripple effect of change. By supporting Polaris, I hope to help provide survivors with the support they need while contributing to a movement that works toward preventing trafficking and protecting vulnerable communities.
