### One Road, Many Ripples

This fall, I will be cycling across the United States on a coast-to-coast journey called *One Road, Many Ripples* — a physical challenge rooted in service, advocacy, and the belief that small actions can create meaningful change.

What began as a personal dream to cross the country by bicycle has become a fundraising campaign supporting organizations working to create a world where all people can live with safety, dignity, and the freedom to determine their own futures.

As part of this journey, I am raising funds for Polaris, a leading organization working to combat sex and labor trafficking at the scale of the problem. Today, an estimated 25 million people worldwide are deprived of the freedom to choose how they live and work. Through the U.S. National Human Trafficking Hotline, survivor-informed advocacy, and the largest known U.S. data set on human trafficking experiences, Polaris is helping transform how trafficking is identified, how survivors are supported, and how communities, businesses, and governments work to prevent exploitation before it occurs.

I believe that every person deserves safety, dignity, agency, and the opportunity to live free from exploitation. Through this ride, each mile becomes an act of solidarity with those whose voices have too often been hidden, harmed, or unheard.
